Antioxidants are one of the most important components to having healthy fertility that every woman needs to focus on.

What are Antioxidants?
Antioxidants are a family of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that help to protect the body from the damage caused by free radicals.

What are Free Radicals?
Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cell structures. In normal everyday life free radicals are produced from the activity in our bodies. Antioxidants neutralize the free radicals, stopping further damage from happening and protecting the cell’s health.

How Antioxidants Work

Antioxidants work like a defense system, disarming free radicals. They “quench” free radicals wherever they are so they are not able to spread and cause damage to our cells.

Why Antioxidants are important and needed for fertility?

The Ovum is very important cell that must be protected against free radicals.

Also the whole reproductive system consists of cells that can be affected by these radicals.

If these cells do not work optimally then the fertilization process suffers, even leading to infertility.

Why is Myo-inositol from MYO-SUN® important?

Myo-inositol has the potential to increase levels of two important antioxidant enzymes in the follicular fluid (medium to the developing egg), thus protecting the ovum against free radicals. A good quality ovum is a very important factor of fertility.

  • 2 g Myo-inositol
    • 200 mcg folic acid
