Below, you can discover the internship experience of our colleagues, Ana-Maria and Ciprian.

What motivated you to choose the internship opportunity at Sun Wave Pharma? What were your thoughts at the beginning of the experience?

Ana-Maria: At the beginning of the internship, I didn’t know what to expect, but I came with a strong desire to learn as much as possible, develop my skills, and contribute to the company’s success. Throughout the experience, I was impressed by the company culture and how they treat their employees, which I noticed even during the interview. I set out to make the most of this opportunity and I am eager to start my career in this field.

Ciprian: I chose SWP because I knew it was an excellent company where I could develop myself. I came in with great enthusiasm, thinking that I would acquire new skills and have the opportunity to put into practice the theory I learned in college. I can confidently say that I have learned many useful things in the IT field and have started developing important skills that I now leverage in a top company.

What pleasantly surprised you during the internship, and what skills have you developed?

Ana-Maria: I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from my colleagues. I felt welcomed in the team and was encouraged to express my ideas. This provided me with a strong sense of confidence and motivated me to work hard to learn as much as possible and develop my skills in a shorter period of time.

Another important aspect was that I had colleagues always willing to offer advice and recommendations regarding the materials I should study to enhance my knowledge in the field. This makes my experience at SWP full of humanity and solidarity.

As for the skills I have acquired, I can say that I now have a better understanding of the specific terminology in the IT and business domains. Additionally, I have developed data visualization and presentation skills through various software tools, and interacting with colleagues within the company has helped me enhance my communication and collaboration skills in a professional environment.

Ciprian: I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and patience of Augustin, Olga, and other colleagues. Throughout the program, I learned how to better manage my time, how to work in a team, and how to interact with a variety of people. Additionally, I discovered state-of-the-art IT technologies and experienced working with them.

What would motivate you to continue being part of SWP even after the internship ends?

Ana-Maria: If I decide to stay and continue working at SWP after the internship, it would be because I have discovered an organizational culture based on respect, support, and collaboration that encourages every employee to contribute to the company’s success, a friendly working environment, and opportunities for personal and professional development. I feel that I am part of a team that wants to help each other and achieve good results.

Ciprian: The opportunity to work in a company whose values align with mine, a market-leading company where I can continue to develop myself in the long term.

If you were to describe what it’s like to be part of the SWP team in three words, what would they be?

Ana-Maria: Three words are not enough to describe this experience, but from my perspective, the most suitable ones would be: Opportunity, Unity, Performance.

Ciprian: : I would define the SWP team with the following three words: Development, Performance, and Family.
