Sun Runners Bucharest Half Marathon

We are delighted to share with you a wonderful story of courage, perseverance, and collaboration within our company. A team consisting of running enthusiasts and curious individuals who wanted to try this challenge for the first time participated in the Bucharest Half Marathon, demonstrating that we can achieve extraordinary things when we unite.

Among the participants, there were both experienced individuals accustomed to covering long distances in previous runs and colleagues who eagerly accepted the challenge with emotion and enthusiasm, despite having limited running experience. This diversity of skills and levels of preparation transformed our participation into a truly special experience.

Bogdan shared his enthusiasm, saying,

“It was the first time I ran 21 km, and the joy was that I could do it without any difficulty or special preparation. Normally, when I run, I don’t go beyond 15 km because I get bored. But this time, I ran in tandem with Alin, and time passed more easily. I hope we will participate in more such events, and that more colleagues will join us. And to conclude on a motivational note, running is important because, besides being healthy, it helps you set higher goals and teaches you what you need to do to achieve them.”

Andreea surprised us with her thoughts and unexpected success:

“I can start by saying that I don’t like running, and when I signed up for this ‘competition,’ I thought there would be smaller races for amateurs. When I found out that we only had 10 and 21 km races, I thought, okay, I’ll do it. I think the most I’ve ever run was 3 km about 2 years ago, and I gave up because it bored me terribly. What shocked me is that around the 5 km mark, I realized that my legs were running out of inertia, and I realized that it’s our minds that set limitations on us. Thank you, Daniela, for the support. I think we made a great team, and I thank all of you for this opportunity.”

The impressions of our colleagues underline the importance of mutual support and a positive mindset in achieving goals. Regardless of our physical fitness level or previous running experience, each of us can overcome obstacles and achieve surprising results when we support one another.

Congratulations to the entire team for the outstanding accomplishments and the courage to venture into such a challenge! We continue to demonstrate that we are a company that promotes health, collaboration, and perseverance, aligning with our inspirational motto: “Making tomorrow healthier.” Our participation in this half marathon is a vivid example of our commitment to a healthy lifestyle and mutual support in achieving personal and professional goals.

We encourage all of you to draw inspiration from this experience and engage in sports and fitness activities, as they bring multiple benefits to our health and well-being.
